Eric Hansen, CEO
Eric is the president and co-founder of IWT. Eric has been in the wireless industry for more than 25 years with several patents to his credit. Before IWT, Eric was with Ericsson in the radio products and cellular derivative division where he held both technical lead and engineering management positions. Prior to Ericsson, he was a lead engineer in Motorola’s Special Applications group, a department within the Land Mobile/Two-way radio group. Eric holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from RIT and a M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
Todd Irby, CFO
As CFO, Todd is responsible for overall financial management, operations including Supply and NPI, and corporate functions of the company. Todd brings more than 20 years of high-tech industry experience to his role at IWT covering a wide span of areas. Prior to joining IWT, Todd was a VP of Finance within Ericsson. At Ericsson he held various financial and operational positions within the Core Units Manufacturing, Research and Development, and Corporate Finance in facilities. He holds a B.S. degree in Finance and a M.B.A. from the Virginia Tech Pamplin School of Business.
VP Sales & Marketing
Phil Carrier brings more than 30 years of marketing, new business development, and applications engineering experience to the IWT management team. Prior to joining IWT, Phil spent 17 years at Agere Systems, where he held various marketing and product line management roles. Most recently Phil was VP of Marketing within Agere Systems’ Mobility Division. He has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
Steve has more than 25 years of experience developing mission-critical communication products. His areas of expertise include embedded software, digital signal processing, FPGA programming, IP and wireless networks. Prior to joining IWT, Steve spent 12 years as an embedded software design engineer and technical lead for Ericsson designing solutions for land mobile radio, cellular phones and cable modems. He holds a B.S.E.E degree from West Virginia Institute of Technology and an M.S.E.E from Virginia Tech.
